Secret Recipe

A little girl looked above
seeing the stars in a quiet night,
hoping to see the Creator's eyes
looking down at her with all might.
She said,
"Guide me, Oh Lord in this path I walk.
Let me see Your eyes
above this moonless sky."
A teenage girl vigorously
walk on a mountain trail
feeling the mist as she reached the peak
feeling the breeze of the cold morning air
silently she whispered this,
"Let me feel Your loving arms my Lord
surround me with a warmth that I may move."
A lady came to visit a place
people gathered around as they saw her face
unloading her things, she prayed like this,
"Since I was a child, my Lord,
I've been looking for you anywhere I go.
I searched the sky, seas and hills,
mountains, caves, and one time maze.
Today I found a secret passage to you
Now I understand how to get to you
Sharing my heart to people in need
their eyes and smiles, hugs and kisses,
All of those, remind me of You."
